I have a tendency to hoard my designer series paper. This is the first time I have used my Color Theory Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Champagne Foil. Since I am a hoarder, I really do not like to waste any paper. For this card, I cut some Champagne Foil and used the detailed leaf thinlits to cut out the leaves. I then used the detailed foil leaves on another card. I am really happy with the final product.
1.) Cut the cardstock:
Whisper White - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches - Score at 4 1/4
Cut a piece of Crushed Curry Color Theory Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Cut a piece of Champagne Foil to 2 1/4 x 5 3/4
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2 1/4 x 5 3/4
2.) Run the Champagne Foil piece that you just cut through the Big Shot three times with the detailed Leaf Thinlit. (Hint: Keep the detailed leaf cut outs for another card. Use all scraps possible.)
3.)Take the white piece of cardstock and sponge three sections (Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Pear Pizzazz.) I sponged 1/3 of each color so the three colors overlap.
4.) Fast Fuse the Champagne to the sponged cardstock; then, fast fuse that to the Color Theory DSP diagonally. Trim the corners off that are hanging off the card.
5.) Wrap jute twine twice around the layer you just put together and tie a bow.
6.) Stamp a sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink Diagonally along the edge of the leave.
7.) Put Stampin' Dimensionals on all four corners of the back of the layer and put it on the Whisper White card base.
