I love the butterflies, especially with the Mango Melody Color. This was a fun card to make.
.) I used the Big Shot to cut out the Butterfly from the Springtime Impressions dies. I used regular white card stock instead of watercolor paper on the butterfly. So, I had to be very careful not to use too much water when I was water coloring. I used Grapefruit Grove for the top half of the butterfly, Poppy Parade for the bottom half, and Mango Melody for the body. Let it dry fully before attaching it the card. I did this step first to allow it time to dry while making the rest of the card.
.) I stamped butterflies on the Mango Melody card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) to fill in the background. I used Grapefruit Grove for the solid image of the butterfly wings and stamped off on scrap paper and stamped again on my card stock to leave just a light image. Then I used Mango Melody and stamped the wing detail and body in full strength.
.) I stamped my sentiment on the bottom of a piece of Whisper White cardstock (2 x 4 1/2) using Grapefruit Grove ink. Then I attached the Whisper White Layer to a Poppy Parade Layer (2 1/8 x 4 5/8). Then attached that in the center of the card base.
.) Attached the butterfly using Dimensionals to pop it up on the card.
