Father's Day Card

June 13, 2017

I always have a difficult time coming up with masculine card ideas. I made this one for my dad for Father's Day. I love the color Dapper Denim; it is my go to for all of my masculine cards.

Items Used:

Dapper Denim Cardstock for card base and several layers - 141414

     8 1/2 x 5 1/2 cardstock folded to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 (card base)

     4 1/2 x 3 1/4

     3 3/4 x 2 1/2

     3 x 1 3/4

White Cardstock for several layers

     5 x 3 3/4

     4 1/4 x 3

     3 1/2 x 2 1/4

Dapper Denim Ink - 141394

Black Ink - 140931

Diagonal Stripe Background - 141914

Fast Fuse Adhesive - 129026

Dimensionals - 104430

Sentiment - I used one for Father's Day from a Paper Pumpkin Kit a couple of month's ago.

1.) Cut all of the cardstock to the appropriate sizes listed above.

2.) Stack the three white layers directly in the center of each other starting largest to smallest.

3.) Ink up the Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp and stamp the three white layers all at once.

4.) Stamp your sentiment in black ink on the smallest piece of dapper denim cardstock (3 x 1 3/4)

5.) Starting with the largest layers on the bottom adhere each layer together. I used Fast Fuse to put the white layers on the blue layers and I used Dimensionals to put the blue layers on the white layers. It is hard to see the dimension in the picture above. Please see below:

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there!!
