Latte for Two

October 14, 2017

I made this card using playful backgrounds to fill up the plain white layer. I also stamped coffee beans randomly around the cardstock. I was really happy with how it turned out. I also put two straws in the drink to share with a friend.

1.) Cut the cardstock:

Early Espresso - card base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 - score at 4 1/4

Pear Pizzazz - layer - 4 1/2 x 5 3/8

Whisper White - layer - 4 x 5 1/4

Whisper White - Stamp the Whipped Cream with Smoky Slate on the Whisper White Cardstock and run it through the Big shot.

Crumb Cake - Run the Tall Coffee Cup through the Big Shot.

Soft Sky - Run the straw through the Big Shot.

Pear Pizzazz - Run the straw and the tag throught the Big Shot. Stamp the tag with the "Hi" stamp from the Coffee Cafe stamp set.

2.) Stamp the background of the Whisper White Layer using the stripes from the Playful Background stamp set. I used the stamp three times with different colors: Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, and Smoky Slate.

3.) Randomly stamp using the beans from the Coffee Cafe stamp set and Early Espresso ink pad.

4.) Adhere the card together.

Wrap a piece of ribbon around the coffee cup and use some fast fuse to get it to stick.

Put fast fuse the back of the tag and tuck up slightly under the ribbon.

Put glue dots on the back of the two straws and put them where you want them on the whisper white cardstock.

Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the coffee cup and whipped cream.

Fast Fuse the Pear Pizzazz layer to the Early Espresso card base.

Fast Fuse the main Whisper White layer to the Pear Pizzazz layer.
