Springtime Impressions - Anniversary

June 21, 2018

I have a family member whose wedding anniversary is coming up and I really wanted to try out the Springtime Impressions die.  I was a little nervous with the new color revamp that Stampin' Up did for this new catalog, but I absolutely love the colors.

1.) I used my Big Shot to cut out the Springtime Impressions die from Whisper White cardstock. SInce I used regular cardstock and not watercolor paper, I really wanted to be careful to not use too much water when adding the color.

2.) I used my Aqua Painter to add color to each of the flowers. You can use any colors, I used Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Grapefruit Grove, and Granny Apple Green.

3.) I then carefully added glue using the fine-tip glue pen to adhere it to the 4 x 5 1/4 sheet of Whisper White cardstock.

4.) I stamped my sentiment onto some scrap Whisper White cardstock, then ran it through my Big Shot with the one of the circle dies from the Stitched Shapes framelits.

5.) I cut a couple of pieces of ribbon and glued them down and used some Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment on top of it.

6.) I then glued that down to a Poppy Parade layer 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.

7.) Glued that down to the Mango Melody card base. 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
