Abstract Impressions Flowers

June 24, 2018

I love this stamp set. It is so easy to use and forgiving. You do not need to get the different flowers layered perfectly. I love this card, because you can use this format with different colors, different ribbon, a different shape for the sentiment, and a different sentiment. There are so many possibilities with this card. This is also a great card for someone who is just starting out, because the Big Shot is not needed to make this card.

1.) Take a Whisper White piece of cardstock (3 1/2 x 4 3/4) and stamp the biggest flowers first. I used Highland Heather for the solid part of the big flower. I inked up the flower then stamped off onto scrap paper once and then stamped my cardstock for a lighter flower. Then I used Gorgeous Grape for the medium sized detail, again I stamped off first then stamped onto my cardstock. I used Gorgeous Grape again for the smaller detail of the flower, but this time I stamped in full strength (did not stamp off on scrap paper first.)

2.) I stamped the smaller flower background in Lovely Lipstick, I stamped off first. Then I stamped the detail in full strength.

3.) I filled in the white space with some leaves with some Call Me Clover, again I stamped off first to light the color a little.

4.) I attached ribbon to the bottom of my Whisper White layer. Then attached the Whisper White layer to the Gorgeous Grape Layer (3 5/8 x 4 7/8). Then attached that to the Highland Heather card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4).

5.) Stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink onto Coastal Cabana cardstock and punch it out using the Tailored Tag Punch. Then pop it up the card over the ribbon using Dimensionals.
