Garden Impressions Anniversary

July 9, 2018

I loved this paper in the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, and it is part of the buy 3 get 1 free promotion. The Happy Anniversary sentiment that I used was from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, but that stamp set is now retired. There is another stamp set that is similar called Itty Bitty Greetings. Most of the sentiments in these stamp sets fit onto the Classic Label punch, but the ones that are too big can be stamped directly onto the Tailored Tag Punch.

1.) Cut the paper:

     5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Night of Navy. Scored at 4 1/4

     4 x 5 1/4 Melon Mambo

     3 3/4 x 4 1/2 Garden Impressions DSP - cut into four strips 1 1/8 x 3 3/4. Keep in order so they all match up.

2.) Stamp sentiment on So Saffron then punch it out using the Classic Label Punch. (Depending on the sentiment  you choose, you may need to use just the Tailored Tag Punch instead of the Classic Label Punch. Not all stamps will fit on the Classic Label Punch.)

3.) Use the Tailored Tag Punch to get a tag in So Saffron and Shaded Spruce. Cut the Shaded Spruce tag in half. You can then layer it behind the So Saffron tag to get an green edge around the top and bottom. Glue the So Saffron Tag to the Shaded Spruce Tag. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to put the Classic Label on top of the Tailored Tag.

4.) Adhere the four pieces of DSP to the Melon Mambo Layer. I spaced them out first and adhered one at a time to make sure my spacing was accurate. Make sure to keep the DSP in order so the pieces match up. You can see that some of the flowers on this card were cut in half, but they match up with each piece. Glue the tag down in the middle. Glue the Melon Mambo layer onto the Night of Navy card base.
